Communicable Disease Control
Provide interventions, including counselling, treatment, therapy, referral, follow-up, inspection, investigation and initiation of corrective action in relation to communicable disease.
COMMUNICABLE DISEASE CONTROL
- Provision of immunizations against vaccine preventable diseases
- Monitoring communicable disease occurrences within community
- Provision of communicable disease screenings and necessary follow-ups
- Provision of information, education related to communicable disease to individuals and to groups within the community
- Provide interventions, including counselling, treatment, therapy, referral, follow-up, inspection, investigation and initiation of corrective action in relation to communicable disease
Fact: Hand washing does prevent the spread of communicable diseases!
